2019 TGWG Mini-Workshop on Gravitational Wave Data AnalysisMay 10, 2019 (Fri.), National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU)
We are going to hold a mini-workshop of gravitational waves (GWs) in NTNU on May 10, 2019. This mini-workshop will introduce the basic skills and tools on the data analysis (DA) of GWs. We also have advanced sessions on the special topics for discussions. This mini-workshop is also aiming for the beginners with some hand-on sessions. Please bring your laptops.
Speakers: ◆ Chia-Jui Chou (NCTU), "A Brief Introduction to Deep Learning in GW Detection" ◆ Feng-Li Lin (NTNU), "Basics of GW Data Analysis – Conceptual Introduction" ◆ Ling-Wei Luo (ASIoP), "Special Session on Installation of LALSuite for Beginners" ◆ Wei-Ren Hsu (NTNU), "Basic Data Analysis and PyCBC Tutorial with Google Colab" ◆ Guo-Zhang Huang (NTNU), "The Parameter Estimation in PyCBC Inference" ◆ Han-Shiang Kuo (NTNU), "Implementation of Gravitational Wave Search Pipeline"
